Hi all!
Just figured I'd post an intro about who I am.
I was a college hip-hop radio DJ in the late 90's. After I left college I did one show on a public radio station in Medford in the early 2000's. I attended a few EDM events in that time frame, but wasn't a part of the scene. In the late 20-teens I found myself drawn into the scene and then covid hit.
I did my first full hour of EDM streaming around Thanksgiving of 2020 and then founded Boston UPSTREAM with Schwilly in late 2020 and we had our first livestream in Jan 2021 with Lido joining us as a founder. The Break Doctor joined the crew a month or so later. Later, Your Friend Brett and Thanks1 joined the crew as the others took a break. Since then, Chris Yee joined the rotation and we are still going 4 years later.
We do a show nearly every Tuesday welcoming guest DJs of all levels.
We have had dozens of DJs from New England, and a few from the west coast and even outside of the US spin a few times. We are always looking for new folks as well as regular returns.
What do I spin? Most often progressive house, or techno, and liquid DNB and other forms of house.
You probably won't soon meet me IRL because my elderly mother lives with me and I can't risk covid entering our home.
